Leave a Nest Capital Makes an Additional investment in Ecologgie, a Venture Company from Waseda University

Leave a Nest Group has invested through Leave a Nest Capital Co., Ltd. in Ecologgie Inc. (Head Office: Shinjuku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Dr. Seiya Ashikari; hereinafter “Ecologgie”), a venture company from Waseda University.

Ecologgie is engaged in the development, production, and sale of food, fodder, and raw materials from crickets, with the vision of “creating a sustainable ecosystem where the earth and nature become healthy” with their food.

Leave a Nest Group shares Ecologgie’s vision and has decided to make an additional investment to support the company in its efforts to design a decentralized production model with its cricket farmers network. This model will recycle unused resources to reduce food loss and solve malnutrition problems by providing easy access to proteins and micronutrients that living creatures need.

With this funding, Ecologgie aims to increase brand awareness and expand sales by fully entering the global market for raw materials from insects and accelerating marketing and promotional activities.

Moving forward, Leave a Nest Group will continue to create deep tech to solve deep issues related to the environment and contribute to global happiness.
