Leave a Nest Group, has invested in TearExo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kobe City, Japan; CEO: Mr. Ryo Horikawa; hereinafter “TearExo”), a spin-off of Kobe University, through Leave a Nest Capital Co., Ltd.

TearExo vision is creating “A world where everyone is freed from cancer with just a tear” and is advancing the development of the TearExo method, a new cancer detection technique that allows convenient self-administered cancer risk assessment using just a drop of tear. This non-invasive and highly sensitive technology aims to detect cancer using the exosomes found in tears as biomarkers, potentially leading to earlier detection and treatment that could greatly enhance the quality of life for individuals.

Leave a Nest Group has decided to invest in TearExo due to their shared commitment to addressing the social issue of preventive medicine not being widely adopted in society. With this funding, TearExo aims to expand its business, focusing on technology development for mass production.
